Since our email to you last week, we’ve continued to see the extraordinary impact of coronavirus COVID-19 and how it is disrupting so much of our daily lives. As your MSOM 2020 Conference Co-Chairs, our top priority is always the health and safety of our conference participants and planning committee. As we continue to navigate this challenging time, we wanted to give you an update on the actions we are taking.
As long as it remains safe to do so, we are continuing with the planning of the MSOM 2020 Conference in Banff, Alberta, Canada for 28-30 June 2020. Today we are reaching out to you to share some information:
To assist you in your planning, we have revised the following dates and deadlines:
- SIG paper acceptance notifications has been extended to 3 April 2020
- MSOM abstract acceptance notifications has been extended to 1 May 2020
As previously mentioned, we have updated our refund policy and will offer full registration refunds if:
- the MSOM 2020 conference is rescheduled or canceled;
- the participant is unable to attend due to travel restrictions (issued for the dates of the conference).
Finally, we advise you to make flexible travel arrangements and inquire early about cancellations and refund policies.
We thank you for your continued support of the MSOM 2020 Conference. We promise to keep on monitoring and responding to this rapidly changing situation. During this time, please take care of yourself, your family, and the people around you.
